Terms of use

1. Introduction

Welcome to Masters VFX Produções Audiovisuais LTDA . By using our services, including online courses, mentoring and consulting, you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree with any clause, we recommend that you do not proceed with the contracting of our services.

2. Definitions

2.1. Platform: Online environment in which Masters VFX services are made available to users, including the website, members area and communication channels.

2.2. User: Individual or legal entity that purchases our courses, mentoring or consultancy.

2.3. Online Courses: Pre-recorded content made available on the platform, which can be accessed by users through an annual subscription. Updates and new content are added periodically, with no obligation to meet individual student requests.

2.4. Mentoring: Structured educational monitoring program, offered in two formats:

2.4.1. Group Mentoring: Live sessions with the participation of multiple students, aimed at professional improvement, with access to complementary materials.

2.4.2. Individual Mentoring (101): Personalized and individual sessions, with direct guidance and exclusive monitoring by the mentor, which may include technical support and remote configuration of tools according to the contracted scope.

2.5. Consulting: Specialized and personalized service, aimed at companies and professionals, with a focus on implementing advanced VFX, AI and 3D techniques in the workflow. The scope, deadlines and values are defined on a case-by-case basis, according to the needs of the contractor.

3. Subscriptions and Access to Online Courses

3.1. The user who purchases the annual subscription has access to the catalog of courses available on the platform during the contracted period.
3.2. Course content is pre-recorded and updated periodically, as defined by Masters VFX, with no obligation to include topics requested individually by students.
3.3. Access to content is personal and non-transferable. Sharing credentials may result in subscription cancellation.
3.4. Masters VFX reserves the right to modify, remove or add courses to the platform at any time, always ensuring the quality and updating of the content.

4. Mentorship

4.1. The Mentorship is offered in different formats: individual or group, as described at the time of hiring.
4.2. The student must comply with the deadlines and times established for the sessions. Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
4.3. Failure to attend without prior notice may result in loss of the session without the right to make-up.
4.4. Mentorship does not guarantee specific results, as the student's performance depends on their dedication and application of the content learned.

5. Consulting

5.1. The consultancy is personalized and defined according to the contractor’s needs.
5.2. The schedule and scope of the service will be agreed between the parties prior to contracting.
5.3. Changes in scope may result in adjustments to values and deadlines.
5.4. Consulting does not include ongoing support after the contracted service has been completed, unless previously agreed in a specific contract.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

6.1. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Code (Art. 49 of Law 8,078/90), the user has 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of purchase to request cancellation and full refund.
6.2. After this period, there will be no refunds for annual subscriptions or mentoring purchased.
6.3. In the case of consultancy, cancellations must be requested at least 15 days in advance of the scheduled start date, to be eligible for a partial refund.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. All content made available by Masters VFX, including courses, teaching materials, videos and methods, is protected by copyright.
7.2. The reproduction, distribution or sharing of any material without express authorization is prohibited and subject to legal sanctions.

8. Responsibilities and Limitations

8.1. The user is responsible for the correct use of the platform and the content acquired.
8.2. Masters VFX is not responsible for any technical problems on the user's devices that may impact access to the content.
8.3. We do not guarantee that the learning acquired will result in hiring, paid projects or any other economic benefit to the user.

9. Forum and Dispute Resolution

9.1. For any disputes, the Court of the District of São Paulo - SP is elected, to the exclusion of any other, however privileged it may be.
9.2. The parties undertake to seek an amicable resolution before resorting to legal measures.

10. Changes to Terms

10.1. Masters VFX reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the official website.
